As per the English Law, children of more than 3 years can travel without child seat with Finding a Cab. But in case of a child of less than 3 years, you must inform your cab service provider about requiring a child seat soon after the booking.

I have made my booking

In case you need minor adjustments including changes in date and time, you are requested to consider the following guide.

  • Visit “my booking”
  • Select “edit date/time for pickup” and change the date or time. Now select on “Check availability”
  • In case the provider is available for changed time and date, you will receive confirmation
  • On entering new date or time, cab provider will verify these changes. In case of receiving message for apologies, you can submit your request and Finding a Cab will receive your email. We will then contact the service provider to confirm their availability.
  • On successful submission of your request, you will receive the confirmation message in this regard.

There are other methods to edit your date and time for booking:

  • Through a Contact Us page
  • Contacting our support agent available round the clock
  • Sending an email at contact@findingacab.co.uk

We will require your Booking Reference Number along with the changes you require to assess if it is possible or you will be required to book your ride again.
For other changes including change in address, number of passengers and luggage, you may have to cancel your booking and book your ride again with changed specifications because:

  • The price estimate will change on changing your locations
  • A different vehicle will be required on changing number of passengers or luggage

A refund is possible only when you cancel your booking within the cut-off time as per your confirmation email. Cancellation of booking is possible through your account or Contact Us page.

The cancellations are processed through Finding a Cab only and not by informing the cab service provider. You must cancel your booking within the cutoff time as mentioned in your confirmation email to avail a complete refund. On receiving a cancellation after the cutoff time will not be entitled to refunds.
You can also cancel your booking through the option available on your account, confirmation email or Contact Us page.

  • Find the booking you would like to cancel and select the cancel on the booking

You will soon receive an email for confirmation of your cancelled booking and will be automatically refunded.

  • Now, choose the correct reason for cancellation
  • Provide your reference number of trip to be cancelled
  • Enter your registered email address
  • You can add further message about cancellation of your booking

Cancel via Confirmation Email

  • You can see “Manage Booking” below your details of trip
  • Select “Cancel Booking”
  • Choose the reason for cancelling your booking
  • Provide your email address you have used for this purpose
  • Add any message regarding this action

You will receive contact details for the cab service provider once you make booking on your confirmation page and also on confirmation email.
If there are any queries related to booking , you are encouraged to contact your provider on immediate basis.

Information for Airport Booking

  • We provide estimated journey time on the initial details of the trip
  • Traffic is the most important factor and 2 to 3 hours are required to reach the airport before your departure.
  • You should follow guidelines of your airline for checking in
  • Try to book in advance to avoid such issues
  • Ensure that you have included your flight number for arrivals and departures

  • We want your flight number when you book with us
  • We provide this to cab service provider to track your flight in case it is delayed
  • Cab operators are required to provide a “Meet & Greet” service to you with names on your cards
  • You should note name and number of your cab operator once you arrive and these details are available on your confirmation email
  • In case of being delayed, please inform your service provider through email or giving a direct call.
  • You are recommended to set your pick up time 30 minutes after your landing time as it will allow free waiting time of 15 minutes
  • Waiting time after 15 minutes may charge you at the discretion of the operator
